Craigslist Finds for the new house!!!

I have been searching Craigslist for furniture that we will need in the new house. The table and brown couch were supposed to go to someone else but the people never showed up so we ended up getting both of them!!! This table is from Pottery Barn and it is one serious piece of furniture! It extends even farther than in the picture with two leaves!!It will be perfect in our new home!!

I wanted a BIG table for gathering around with family and friends so this was a dream come true!

I drove to Seattle to get this velvety brown sofa on Saturday. Love the shape of the arms!! (the pillows came with the couch:)

We got this sofa for $125!! it is from Ikea and we can change the slipcover later on. This one will go into our upstairs bonus room!! Right now all three pieces are in our storage unit.

Gianna's Preschool Open House!!

I can't believe Gianna is old enough to go to preschool! We went to her Open House on Wednesday night. She was all smiles as soon as she saw her good friend Kinzley. They sat right down and started coloring!

Gianna is going to the same preschool that Dominic went to-Faith Lutheran. She feels at-home and comfortable in this place. We are so happy that she is excited about going to school.

I have been talking to her about "bossyness" and how if she wants to make friends she cannot be bossy. She needs to listen to other's ideas and not always be the one in-charge! This is kind of a big concept for her:)

Bike Park

The boys have been spending a lot of time at this bike park, which is right down the street from us. We can't believe the jumps that Dominic will try and go over!

It definitely helps with Nick being there...Dom wants to try whatever Nick does!

Hopefully this will be ours soon....

So we made an offer on a house, and here it is. We were countered at the price we really wanted and it was accepted!!! We are so excited and hope this all goes through. It is funny...we had offered on another house, and have been holding out, but it just hasn't gone as we expected, and then this house...a house we had seen a LONG TIME AGO and LOVED but it was under contract so it was not an option...came on the market again! We could not believe our eyes as we looked on the MLS list!

Gianna smelling one of the many rose bushes...delish!

Loving hanging out under the big tree in the backyard!

There are several fruit trees in the backyard...I am sooo excited!!! Gianna wants to pick the apples so badly! There are also a couple of raised garden beds...my dream come true!! Now all I need is a chicken coop-need to convince Vinny of that tho!
The back of the house....it is on an acre + .15 . We have many plans!!!

These yellow rose remind me of my Grandma Hayes yard! I cannot get enough of the smell!

Sweet luvies!!
Of course all were WILD...including the Daddy! Running from every end of the property to the other checking it all out! This is what I have dreamed of for our family...space, space, space to run, laugh, be loud, create, develop, to just be...whatever they want!

Hopefully we will be moved in by the beginning of October!!

Special Time with Grandma June

We went to Olympia this weekend so that Vinny could help my dad paint the house and we could spend time with our lovely Grandma June. We have missed her so much since she moved to Oregon...but are so excited that she will be moving back to Olympia in a couple of weeks!!!

Grandma June LOVES the great-grandkids sooooo much. They light her up!

As we tucked G in tonight and Vinny asked her what the best part of her day was she replied with: My favorite part was being in the apartment (my parent's place about their garage), fishing at the lake, and being with Grandma June!" I thought that was the sweetest thing ever...and I know Grandma June would too!

My little lovebug!

Lake Chelan Fun Times

Getting the party started with some music and dance moves by Payton!

These two had so many fun times in Chelan!

Loving boat life with Auntie Toni-Day 1 we were out on water within the hour of arriving!

Kneeboarding the first day since Uncle Jared was at work and couldn't be there to teach them how to wakeboard.

Finding spots along the river to Cliff Jump! The boys loved it!

the hosting couple...thanks for such a wonderful time!

New mommy enjoying life!

Cashy hanging on the kneeboard

Getting a wakeboard lesson from Uncle Jared
And he was up! Great job Nick!

Concentrating and thinking about all Uncle Jared told him...
Payton's turn...and he was up right away too!

Fun + Uncle = Funcle Jared (he named himself Funcle!)

Enjoying Baby Payton

The 4 year old wakeboarder! Amazing!

Fun with cousins!

Cash doin' his own thing! Where is that kid's parents? lol
Huddling under the umbrella as the weather is turning VERY quickly to a raging storm with hail-like rain and ferocious winds...the big boys were out on the boat wakeboarding and we were cursing them, waiting for them to get back. I just kept saying to the kids: Isn't this so fun? What an adventure this is! How exciting!

When they finally pulled up they saw our unhappiness...it took us 3 boat loads to get everyone and EVERYTHING back to the boat launch...of course we were the LAST boat on the river.

Luckily their friend Ray stayed and waited to help all of us get off the river.

Home, safe and sound, after the big storm.

Our attempt at a cousin picture!

And then came the Girl's Wine Tasting Tour...(after the boys had golfed in the morning, we went wine tasting)

At the first winery...

One of my favorite wineries on the tour...great story about how it came to be!

on the last day we spent the day at the water slide park. it was a perfect size for families with all ages of kids. Both Dom and Gianna went on the bigger slides and Dom went by himself! We didn't even have to force him-this was an amazing day in the life of us!!

I had to put this picture because this is the look of: "I'm going to do what I want even though you are telling me something else Mom." I see it often!
Payton was re-enacting my scream when I had gone on the Purple Haze ride. They boys found it hilarious that they could hear me for so long!

What a wonderful trip-filled with such fun times, lots of laughter and love.
