Pumpkin Carving Tradition...2010

Annual Pumpkin Carving Tradition with Langstons and Glassers...barely got it in this year!!

The whole crew...Payton's pumpkin fell off the porch tho:(

The girls were running and playing, and oh so cute...and then Greg and Shelley were running and playing and oh so cute!! haha

Leftover pumpkin pieces put to good use as a shooting target.

Catching up with Eyfords and McGowans...

Dress up was a big part of the weekend for G and Ellee!

 Ninja team!

I love having a table big enough for many people to gather around!

 Grill masters

Pierce got in on the booty shaking dance party!

There was a lot of booty shaking going on!

 Check these moves!

 sliding down the steps!

These 3 were so funny...they knew exactly what they were playing together, when we had no idea!

Never again a morning picture! I am too puffy!!

Us girls with our kids! What a bunch! I was so happy to have Sara and Shannon and their families up for the weekend to visit and catch up on life! We didn't do much but visit, eat, drink, visit, visit, visit! BUT it was perfect for me! oh I almost forgot-we crafted too!

Really? what in the world?

REally? This is Gianna's room and how she "cleans up." It is a bit overwhelming and reminds me of hoarders! She makes these piles all  over her room, and I seriously have a hard time going in there...I don't even know where to start!

Before and After!!!! Moving IN!!!!

So of course food is the most important part of ANY event!!! Vinny's coordinator of instruction made us a WHOLE meal, equipped with a kid's portion of butter noodles, because she knew what moving is like.."pizza and BK meals"...which is exactly what our meals were like the whole week of remodeling before we moved in!

What a "God-send" Tracy was! The meal was delicious and presented so beautifully! And really, what would we have done without my dad, working ALL week, day in day out while we were at our jobs, doing the floors and back wall! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU DAD!!!

On Moving In Day Dan and Jody surprised us with a day trip up to see our new home and support us with their presence...they will never know what it meant to us to have them "stop by" when it takes 3 hours to get here and they have a 3 month old baby!

Gianna was sooooo happy to be with her cousin Payton Belle!!! We LOVED seeing Payton and her CUTE ADORABLE dimples when she smiles!!!

Before...

AFTER, but still in progress...my dad will fill in the top part with the beadboard too and we have to install OUR GORGEOUS chandelier!!! (but no more blue carpet or very busy wallpaper!!!)

BEFORE...

BEFORE close up!!!

After...partly...ignore the boxes and no decorating!!! We won't hang stuff until all the other work is done and Dad is coming up this week to finish trim and beadboard!

The left side of entryway...(no decorating done tho) But do you see the Pottery Barn bargain I got on Craigslist???? (the table!!!) soooo loving waking up and sitting around the amazing table chatting, eating breakfast with the fam!!!

I really am not leaving stuff how it looks below-we haven't moved everything to it's proper place, nor decorated in the least...BUT doesn't that back wall look so

BEFORE on the right side of entryway...

AFTER....(no blue carpet!!!) and no funky smell from DOG PEE all over!! YUCK!

PS-we will not be keeping the tv on the table. Our tv is in the bonus room and we won't have one in this room, but while we were in the moving in process we watched movies here.

Sequim Farm Tour

One of our favorite Fall activities is attending the Farm Tour. Farms around the area have festivities and yummy food on the first Saturday of October. Nash's is our favorite and always our first stop! Apparently Dom has the skill of hula hooping!! I didn't even know! He was awesome at it!

This year Nash's added a new activity-decorating wings. Dominic decorated bat wings and Gianna decorate butterfly wings.

Of course they decorated pumpkins...Dom made a mohawk on his! Gianna painted hers,

There was a group there that demonstrated how to make fire with all natural elements. Here a girl showed us how to make fire-Dominic was very intrigued with this booth.

Swimming in barley!

The Dairy Farm is a favorite too because of all the animals. 4-H has a booth and the kids LOVE petting the animals. Gianna stayed with this pony for so long-petting, whispering to it, hugging it!

There were so many baby cows that the kids loved! The calves were adorable!

My mom and I took them on the Farm Tour while Vinny and my dad worked back at the new house. There was a lot going on this day!

We love being with Grandma!
