Olympia Girlfriends' Santa Breakfast

Tradition is really important to our family. This tradition of meeting with my girlfriends in Olympia each December and all of our kids to eat breakfast, sit on Santa's lap, and exchange ornaments is treasured. Each year we are missing a couple girlfriends and their kids, but it is so fun to spend time with the ones that are there.

Grandparents love stopping by to see the kids, but also catch up with "the girls." We are all so lucky that our own parents love to be involved in this tradition.

And here they sit...awaiting the arrival of the big man!

Can you see the glee on Dom's face?!

listening with joy to Santa talk to them

all of the kids with Santa...kind of! I had to duck behind G to get her to be in the pic!

Sweet mom and daughter:) The "big kids" are such great sports each year-always playing along.

All of us girls...and two buns in the ovens for Jenni and Marissa. Next year there will be even more kids at the breakfast!

Love these girls!

Gianna's the Snack Girl!

Since Gianna was the snack girl on a chapel day she got to light the candle and snuff it out at the end of chapel. She was so excited, and I was so happy I could be there to watch. Here she is lighting the candle.

G and Kinzley were dancing in the aisle while they were singing the songs.

Snuffing the candle out..

Coming to me with a big proud smile:) This sweet girl just melts my heart in so many ways.

Nick's Basketball Game

Last Wednesday we all headed down to Shelton for Nick's basketball game. It was the first time the kids and I got to watch Nick play this year. Vinny goes down each week to a game. Payton, Nick's great friend from Sequim, came with us too.

Gianna's Preschool Christmas Performance

At first Gianna was "shy" covering her eyes as she walked down the church aisle...that quickly changed! (At home she said she couldn't wait to get up on the stage.)

See- shyness gone!

Performing as she should!!

Stopping to smile at the audience:)

We love watching her on the stage...and she loved being on it!!

Dominic's Christmas Performance

Dominic was in 4 performances at our church for the annual Christmas Show. This year it was "A Baby Changes Everything." The kids group sang a 50's song and dressed like greasers. On the last performance Dominic was chosen to be one in a trio to sing a Snowman Song in front of 100's of people! We were so amazed at how nonchalant he was about the whole thing! Me personally-I would have been terrified!

That's my boy...smiling sweetly!

Pre-Funking before Vegas Christmas Party

Yes I do have clothes on!!

We can't get a usable picture out of these 3!! Who wants to frame this one?!

"Who is Sadie Hawkins anyway?" "Tolo 2010 picture!"

There were some funny costumes at the party!

At the end of the night...Vinny had a little trouble focusing!

Time today with Grandma and Grandpa

Snuggling up to Grandma

Grandpa is always cracking the kids up!

We were so happy to get to spend the afternooon with Grandma and Grandpa, while they were up here for a few hours...amazing how much we can pack into an afternoon!
