Bouncin'

The boys got our new trampoline set up a few weekends ago and the kids have barely gotten off it since then!

G had a little break where she had to get her scream out...apparently things weren't going her way!

This trampoline has been so fun for the WHOLE family! Vinny and I love it too!

Mother's Day Morning

The kids were so excited to set everything up for Mother's Day morning. I could hear G "helping" Vinny make the breakfast and Dom getting stuff set up. I was trying to sleep in, but their noises and conversations were just too cute.

G came bursting into my room, while I pretended to be sleeping, and started singing me a happy mother's day song that she made up! A ray of sunshine that one is!

Dom had brought home this bag earlier in the week and was so excited to give me my mother's day gifts that he made at school.
While he was showing me the book and vase and flowers, G was pouting off to the side. As soon as Vinny told her to give me her present she perked up, slapped a smile on her face and was so gracious! That girl's emotions bewilder me!!

The book Dom made for me was filled with his own poetry and most of it was about me!! What an amazing gift!

It almost didn't happen...

but, it did, so we were one happy family!

the first fire in our new firepit...Dom was devastated at the thought of not having our first fire. We waited anxiously through dinner to see if the rain would let up...it was coming down hard.

and if there had been no fire, then this would not have happened...

Look at his joy-gooey marshmallow fingers and cream soda!

With daddy, the fire starter.Thank goodness the rain finally stopped!!!

Lovefest for Mom Night!!!

Tonight the kids were so pumped up about it being Mother's Day weekend, and wanted to make me pictures. It was so cute watching them create and try to keep it hidden from me until "Ta-Da!" moment!!!

"Don't look mom!" Then he took it upstairs to his new desk area and worked on it for about 20 minutes!! Vinny and I were just melting!

Look at his arms around me! This is a keeper and framer FOREVER!!!

Daddy was her scribe...writing down all the things she wanted to say to me! She is quite the boss-lady!

hahahahahah!

Telling Daddy secrets about what to write, and then making sure he does it!

Giving me my picture

Showing me each part

Going back to have Daddy write more...he loved it! Daddy is such an encourager of celebrating me:)

TA-DA!

TA-DA!

My boy-the detail-oriented kid he is...thinks about little things like- " I need to change that circle to a heart around mommy's name on my picture."

He is not the most "sit and cuddle kid" so these moments mean so much to me.

He "added color"

They bring such joy to my life...lucky me!

Dom's been saving...

Well one day I was gone and Dom and Daddy, partners in crime, broke into Dom's "saving for my Harley" piggy bank...the bank that cannot be put back together once it is cut open! I had said it needed to be closed for years, but apparently they had other ideas!! Shelley and Shawn gave it to him when he was a baby, and we have always just had him add his money to it over the years...now 7 years later there was over $350.00! Every little bit adds up...and Dom is planning on buying a DSI-3.

love "DSI MUNY!"

Preschool Mother's Day Tea

Gianna's card she made for me:) That drawing she did of me is precious!

Ready for cookies, watermelon and juice! She was so excited for it to be "just mommies, no daddies!"

Playing on the rug with Kinzley before the performance

I'm a Little Teapot

Dinosaur March song...the kids favorite!

G and her best friend Kinzley

Lovin' the HUGE cookies!! They were quite delicious!

A Sweet Treat

Walking up to my classroom door on Thursday this is what greeted me. All that yellow made my day! Gianna was with me and she literally gasped and said, "oh mom that is so beautiful!" The notes I got from some of the kids were what made my days really bright! Their words are so heartfelt and honest.
