Here are all the kids eating...it took a lot of effort on our part, but we got them to come to the table for a few minutes to eat dinner! They were having too much fun running around fields...basically running wild! When the adults sat down to eat, we had a great time b/c the kids entertain themselves!
Sunshine on my shoulders...or face! Cozied up by the fire! Getting ready for our traditional "questions around the fire" where Shawn asks a question and everyone around the fire answers it-his questions are great! We end up laughing for hours!

Roasting marshmallows and "cuddling up" as G likes to say-usually G is put to bed before the fire, but we let all of the kids stay up LATE this night! We will pay for it today!

G with Auntie Shelley...learning a new word- "solid" when asked how she is doing, along with knuckles and the head bob! Right up G's alley since she loves the whole attitude thing!
Buddies forever
The wheelbarrow provided much fun for the kids! I am a strong believer that kids don't need much in the area of toys-dirt piles, wheelbarrows, blankets for forts-that about sums it up....and they are happy campers!
Our two little pre-kindergarteners! They have known each other since birth!
These are the best times! We wouldn't trade these nights and days for anything!

I agree on the whole dirt and water and they're good to go idea! Mateo could care less about his toys but give him a water hose and some unsuspecting flowerbed and it's all over!
